As a kid I always enjoyed being my dad’s "helping hands" in the garage. That’s where it all started. I found a fascination in fixing anything around the house, from our garbage disposal to replacing a light fixture. What I didn’t learn through trial and error, I sought out in "How To" books and shop classes in high school.

In college, I enrolled in every technical theatre class offered. These classes taught me how to use my handy man skill in a creative manner. I did everything from building sets to hanging lights. After seeing my work ethic, my theater professor asked me to help him remodel a house one summer. I’ve been remodeling houses and doing other various projects ever since.

After college I continued remodeling houses and working for the local reparatory theater. I moved out to Los Angeles a few years ago and was very fortunate to get a job as a design assistant on Extreme Makeover: Home Edition. It was a wonderful learning experience, but I was ready to move on in order to focus more on carpentry work. Since then, I’ve been doing carpentry on various shows and pilots.
