Still under construction!
There are a lot more projects coming.
I'm still trying to get all the pictures together.

House Remodeling

Bunk House

In June of 2009, I completed this project for Roger Brandes with the help of his sons. The bunkhouse used to be an old garage built in 1920 and in two days we insulated and sheeted the entire inside.

We used 1x6 pine to as the baseboards and 1x4 pine as the trim boards. The bunkhouse is now used as a warm place to hunker down during calving season in the winter.

Small Projects

Saddle Stand

This saddle stand was built as a Christmas present for Kane Brandes in the winter of 2009. He needed a place to set his championship team roping saddle. The ends were made out of mahogany and the crossbeams are high quality pine. I also made the stand sturdy enough that he could sit on the saddle while it was on the stand.

Outdoor Staircase

I built this outdoor staircase for a friend. He wanted a way to get from his dining room to the side of his house via a tall window. I used redwood for the whole project. I had to custom build the risers to accommodate the small space. I also added a railing on one side. I didn’t attach the stairs to the building, as per the landlord’s request.

TV Shows

Mobile Home Disaster
Biker Bar

I helped build this biker bar project for the CMT show Mobile Home Disaster. We used a truck bed toolbox as the main bar, put a countertop over a mini-fridge in the corner, and spiced up the back wall with corrugated metal.

Baseball Room

The theme of this room was like being on a baseball field. We whitewashed each of the fence pieces and attached them to the walls to resemble an outfield fence. We also converted the bunk bed to be used as two separate single beds.
