2nd Carpenter (October 2008 – November 2008)
Helped finish the last two episodes of season number one.
After the season wrapped, went back to various houses and completed the cut lists.
Worked with the 1st Carpenter and the on-screen designers.
Built the special projects designated by the on-screen designers.
Work done included: building a custom made closest system, installing a shelving unit surrounding the top portion of a little girls room, painting, installing light fixtures, and other minor remodeling.
Extreme Makeover: Home Edition (ABC) – Hollywood, CA
Assistant Design Coordinator (September 2007 – September 2008)
Thirteen Episodes Completed.
Working with design and story producers to pick out items to be put back from the old house, into the new home.
Managing the moving company in moving out the family’s personal belongings to on-site storage, off-site storage, trash, or as donations.
Organizing the dry-cleaning of the family’s clothes.
Making an inventory of the items in the on-site storage, insuring easy accessibility.
Tracking and making an inventory of items sent to site via Fed-Ex, UPS, and ABF.
Assisting Design Producers.
Coordinating the move-in of items into the house.
Working with the furniture company, preparing items to be moved into the house.
Helping the Design Producers get the house ready for the family to come home.
Volunteer management.
Mobile Home Disaster (CMT) – Los Angeles, CA
Assistant Special Project Coordinator (March 2008 – May 2008)
Four episodes completed.
Worked with the Senior Special Projects Coordinator designing and building.
Built various special projects in the mobile homes including baseball themed beds, a Harley Davidson themed bar, and an outdoor wooden fence.
Other duties completed include: Trim installation, painting, hanging blinds, landscaping, and other remodeling.
Newman Theatre – Westchester, NY
Backdrop Painter (January 2005)
Recreated on a 10’x15’ canvass (using a type of pointillism) the painting “Sunday Afternoon on the Island of the Grande Jatte” by George Seurat
Nebraska Reparatory Theatre – Lincoln, NE
Set Carpenter (Summer 2004 and Summer 2005)
Shows completed include Androcles and the Lion, Resident Alien, Bus Stop, Ink and Elkskin, Lend Me a Tenor, and The Guys.
Building walls, furniture, platforms, and other various set items.
Working with all types of wood, metal, and other materials.
Positioning sets together on stage, placing furniture within that set, and dressing the set with props/accessories.
Painting backdrops, furniture, walls, and platforms.
